Notice of 2022 SLT Annual General Meeting

Invitation to nominate for the Board

Please join us on Wednesday 28 September, 5.30 pm, in the Lord Mayor’s court room in the City of Hobart Town Hall (thank you to Anna Reynolds who offered us the space when she spoke at our AGM last year). We have been busy as a Board and as an organisation over the year and we would love to share this with you. The agenda is included below.

Please consider putting yourself forward as a member of the Board. Feel free to call the president, Margaret Steadman, 0427 355 951, if you would like to discuss board membership. (Sign the nomination form electronically and forward to [email protected].  We can sort the rest.)

This year’s AGM speaker is Lissa Villeneuve. Many of you will remember her as the director of the Sustainable Living Festivals and the creator of many inspiring local events centred on delicious local food. She is now working for Red Cross Australia as National Senior Project Officer, Resilience, and will talk to us about that work and its relevance to SLT.

Sustainable Living Tasmania 2021-2022 Annual General Meeting

Agenda

• Confirm the minutes of the preceding AGM;
• Presentation of the 2021-2022 Annual Report;
• Presentation of the 2021-2022 Audited Financial Report;
• Appointment of the auditor and determination of the auditor's remuneration;
• Election of the members of the Board of Management;
• Lissa Villeneuve, Australian Red Cross.

Bring anything you have that is to do with food..... growing, cooking, eating, preserving, composting, learning.... books, tools, plants, garden produce, kitchen creations, animal manures, seeds, jars, netting, bean poles, dumpster doings, or skills like tool sharpening, fence weaving etc etc. You don't have to bring a lot but you can still take a lot!
